25% underdrive crank pulley. brands (slp, powerbond, asp, ati) theres a bunch out there. I would go with the ati, seems to be of better quality. I see your from PEI, I'm in Nova Scotia.

As far as I know, the pulley will allow you to get more power to the ground, but for the price, it's almost a negligible difference. I have heard of gains of like 3-5 hp. I could be wrong though.

Do yourself a favor and don't look for horsepower in the accessory drive because there isn't much to be gained. If you use a cheap damper, you will have engine harmonics issues leading to crank and timing chain problems.

I wouldn't use anything smaller than a 10% under drive and only from ATI. Whatever you do, don't use an ASP. Do a search on all of the recent timing chain failures on cars with ASP crankshaft 'dampers'. (I put 'damper' in parenthesis because they don't dampen very well, if at all.)

The 25% under drives are too small for an LS1, not adequately controlling harmonics in the engine.

Not correct. The ASP 25% under drive is 8 lbs. and the ATI 10% under drive is 4.5 lbs.

The ATI is more expensive, but you don't skimp on engine balancers.
