head casting numbers
head casting numbers What are the head casting numbers for the the ls3 and ls2 heads. I found a guy at a local wrecking yard that has about 20 sets of heads. All ls based heads with different casting numbers. I'm thinking of picking up a few sets.
LS3 heads use cast number 821. L92 heads use cast numbers 823, 5264 and (I think)2347. LS2 heads use cast number 243 or 799.
Let me know if he's got any extras of ony of these numbers for sale. I might be interested.
