Default My newest exhaust

After the cam i needed to quiet my car down a few notches being that i already had too mutch attention on me. I wanted a nice deep sound that was quieter at idle and cruising around town but sacrificed as little up top as possible. Here is what we came up with:

Pacesetters LTs
Gutted cat
TSP TD's with Dynomax bullets
Moroso Spiral flows
Tips out the back
Routed LTs TDs under the axle flanged to the spiral flows on the tips
Overall sounds amazing. Was completely what i was looking. HEre are some pics and an idle clip

I don't like how you routed the tips.. Sounds like you need a better tune as well

it is tuned to run "super" rich for 1200 miles. I blew up two pistons 8 months ago and have just gotten everything re installed so according to the place that built the motor it needs to be "super rich for break in".... only 600 miles more to go

and i wanted the tips there to be a little different. i want to get better corsa/slp type tips for it when i have the money

I've never heard a tuner tuning a car to run "super'' rich.. You may want to find another tuner

super rich will hurt the motor. it will wash the cylinders down and ruin the rings.

the tuner isnt the one that said run it super rich it was the guy that built the motor. I have never heard of running it super rich to break the motor in either, a touch rich maybe but never super rich. Its dads checkbook that is going to take the hit if something comes apart. We had more than 2 good shops tell him just heat cycle the motor 4 or 5 times drive it easy for a few hundred miles then beat the **** out of it on the dyno but he thinks he knows best.

arc cruising clips coming once the rain stops. The SS only gets driving on nice days and its been nasty/raining the last week

Ah cool, sounds a lot like what I want mine to sound like, very deep and none of the nascar that seems to plague f-bodies.

it was his deal. I ended up selling my motorcycle to pay for the new motor, so when he wanted to jump in and tell me how it needs to be broken in then his wallet took over instead of mine. Im not going to pay for something he ***** up

Thanks, I been thinking of getting and X-pipe and making a true duel setup but I don't want to dump them. I have a TA and IMO they look like crap w/o tips sticking out the rear bumper.
