What's your power level? If you're making under 550rwhp, there's no reason to go 3" over 2.5" If you're not making anywhere near that power, you'll benefit from 2.5" duals as there is more than enough flow and the lower volume will maintain better exhaust velocity, adding to power.

What? You do know that 550rwhp is close to 675hp at the flywheel.....the best 2.5" duals on the planet won't even come close to supporting that kind of power. Good 2.5" duals can support up to ~500fwhp (~430rwhp) before becoming a restriction, it's been tested over and over.

To answer the OP's question, it all depends on how you run the exhaust. I don't know that I'd try to go under the axle being lowered that far. Dumping it would be far easier, but if I had to go out the back I'd take them both over the passenger side.

I meant bhp. Force of habit typing rwhp. The point is, 2.5" duals will outflow 3" catbacks easily, and since there are plenty of people in the 10's and 11's running catbacks, 2.5" duals are more than enough for most applications. There is no point on going to 3" duals in most cases.

if you think of it... the body is lowered 1.75" not the axle. Axle clearance is axle clearance. I have seen a couple of under the axle setups on big drops. 2.5" TDs and you will be good.

Mind if i ask how much did they charge you? Also did you have it dumped and continued out to the rear, or have a complete set-up made? Thanks

I was thinking the same thing. The only thing would make a difference is tire height
