Currently have Big Kooks headers 3" off each header into a Y pipe, then 4" all the way out the back through a 4" Magnaflow muffler, I have a 4" cutout for track days, motor is a N20 402ci. Now does anyone think I would gain anything by comming off each collector with a 12" piece of 3" into a bullet muffler then turn down?

Probably not any real HP gain going to that exhaust setup over what you have but if you run some super light weight bullet muffler off the collectors you would save a good deal of weight which would help on all points except for possibly ground clearance if its a street car.
