What to replace Magnaflow exhaust tips with? Ideas?
What to replace Magnaflow exhaust tips with? Ideas? Has anybody found a decent set of "drop in" tips for the Magnaflow exhaust kit? I don't want the big pretty 3.5 inch pipes under my bumper (I'm low enough that I'll just smash them on a driveway anyhow). I was considering using my stock Z-28 tailpipes but I believe that they are 1/4 inch smaller than the outlets on the magnaflow muffler (I can get adaptors). Has anyone got any ideas? I'm looking to replace the whole pipe and not use the rear parts of the Magnflow kit (after the muffler). I'm ok with the "look stock" approach and hate to add shiny stuff that attracts cops.

Sunset WS6, those look great on the T/A body. I'd be happy with "V-6" looking steel pipes, no tips at all. I guess I was wondering if anyone had "stealth" ideas.

Cool tips and nice choice of color for a cali car. I also see that you've added a ram air sticker to the back. I put one on there as well because i got sick of people trying to run up beside me to see if it was a Ram Air T/A or not. Guess the WS.6 emblem isn't good enough for em.

you could probaly get the stock ones modified to work.
if your interested in selling the magnaflow tailpipe sections let me know, as i have a new in the box magnaflow catback, minus the tailpipe sections waiting to be installed. I was going to custom fabricate stuff for my GMMG tips, but if i can find the tailpipe sections that will at least let me install my kit, and do the GMMG tips at a later date. (Ryan212@aol.com if you want to sell, or work out a deal for what i have)

Re: What to replace Magnaflow exhaust tips with? Ideas? I know this is what you're shying away from, but just to give you an option...Corsa makes some really nice tips. I just have a Magnaflow muffler on my Formula and didn't want the cast iron tail pipes, so I put on some Premium Corsa tips. When its all on, it should look nice.
