Default How do I find out what series flowmasters I got

Okay so I bought the car with about 10k miles on it and when I got it, it had flowmasters already on it.

My buddy has flowmasters on his mustang and they are way louder than mine...

Can anybody explain this? His mustang is a 96 totally stock.(except the flows of course)

Is it possible that I dont have a 80 series flowmaster?

I tried to find some visual on the catback that would tell me but got nothing...

How can i find out because my flows are deep but super quiet...

probably 80 series. muffler is stamped with the series. u have to remember that your buddies mustang is also a true dual setup when our cars generally arent true duals
