I just put a set on mine a month or so ago, and they are great headers. You will be very happy with them. They also use a decent grade of stainless.

I say LPP

I believe there is a catted y in the works. Right now there are only race headers and ORY available.

The LPP look great but I have no experience with them so I can't rate them.

The two sets of hooker 1 3/4 " I have helped on went in like KY Jelly was helping them slide in. One car was a 98 110K car and getting the old off was much more frustration than getting the new to fit...... Both cars the key was getting the high enough to stand the pipe up vertical to get them in....

Yeah getting it high enough won't be a problem because I have a friend that has a lift because his dad does transmission work so I'm going to be using that for the install.

i also have the lpp headers. great fitment and easy install. one tip that i read on here that i would recommend is to spray all the headers/exhaust/cat bolts with some penatrating spray the night before and then before you start to take the old exhaust out. really aids in breaking the bolts loose.

I'm also lookin at gettin these LPP headers, I swear I was reading a post on here that isn't that old, but I heard ppl were havin some fitment issues with the first batch of headers LPP made, I heard they quit selling them for a bit cause they were working on refining them for a second batch here to come in the early spring time, don't know if that is true or not, but if it is, does anyone know when LPP is gonna sell these new ones there workin on?

Also anyone know when there comin out with there catted y-pipe? and how much $$$ it's gonna be??

U can't beat the price for the LPP headers, they look f---ing sweet

I was quoted $600 today to put headers on and $300 for the tune, I say screw that, I'll get bloody and put them on myself for that that amount of lute.....One thing tho, I don't know exactly what I'm doin, I mean I know I can do it, but what has to be removed and done to get these things in???

Oh and how much rwhp can I expect with LT's and a tune?

The fitting issue that you saw was with the first batch of LPP LT1 headers not the LS1s. And you don't need to pay that much to have the installed and tuned, just get a couple friends together and spend a saturday putting them on. Just look around here to find a write up or two on how to put them on. Also, the $300 tune is like a full tune, and for just headers you really don't need that tune. You just need a street tune (about $75) and have them tune out the rear O2 sensors and any other emissions stuff you delete.

Do these headers require that you delete all emissions equipment? I know that the rear O2s will need to be programmed out since I would not be running cats, but what about the A.I.R. pump and such? From the pics, it seems the headers don't have the AIR connection on them. I do like the fact that these guys are located in Zephyrhills....right down the street from me.
