how do the coolant tubes underneath the TB come out???

Question how do the coolant tubes underneath the TB come out???

ive had the coolant bypass for the longest time and ive seen that some of u dont have the coolant tubes underneath the TB anymore. how do u get them out???

lol, did i give you a idea?? Im just gonna heat mine till i get it out. Or cut it flush and braze it smooth.

haha ya actually u did. thanx taubr unit. i dont see a need to keep my TB coolant pipes with plugs when i did the coolant bypass so i may as well remove them. im gonna try yanking the **** out of them with channel locks tomorrow. if that doesnt work, ill try your other suggestions

haha, i just figured it would look a lot better and im a play-baby like that! Kinda light weight reduction how every little bit adds up. Well every little clean-er-up mod like this really adds up to smoothness in the end. Some may think its stupid but i like doing small stupid mods like this IMO

im the same way. i remove anything 'i dont absolutely need' even if its the littlest thing and it also does give a more subtle, plain look as well. people tell me its stupid and i just tell 'em 'every little bit adds up'

out of all the **** i did to my car its nice to have a "easy fun" job to do once in a while. kinda a nice break from the headach crap!

ya thats true also. im having a headache job right now going thru my engine bay harness gutting wires

Default Coolant tubes

If you can get the TB off the car, it was real easy to crush the end of the tube in a vise and then pull and twist. The tubes are just pressed into the TB housing.

i got mine out, the top one came out REAL easy. The bottom ciilant tubes i bent them till they broke off real close to the TB then drilled through the entire thing.

still havent went after this yet. been caught up with other things. gonna try channel locks in a twisting/pulling motion first and see if i can free'em up
