Default Ported TB not geting for throttle?

I just installed a ported tb with the bumpstop cut back on it and now with the gas pedal pushed down all the way the cars tb wont open all the way it goes back to where the bumpstop was before but wont open to where its cut back to now the throttle cable seems tight and the gas pedal doesnt seem like its getting caught up on anything I have a set of MBA aluminum pedals installed could that be playing a role any ideas would be great thx guys
