Default Cai .....
I got a great deal for a K&N Cold air intake . but i never seen one on a car only Lids . is the K&N better or just as good .

I'm not a fan of K&N either...

that setup is completely open to hot engine bay air...

i got one, but its on an lt1 and the filter is inside the bumper...idk about you ls1 guys....

even if it is a good deal its still prob more than an slp lid which is like 80 new or you can find one her for like 50

I haven't used it but I've seen one get outrun by a lid/ram air kit that costed less.

If you want a dyno number get the K&N, if you want to go fast stick with the lid.

Get the lid. I have the k&n and don't like it. I wish the car had a lid on it when I bought it. For now I am stuck with it.
