Default A.I.R. Removal Question

There is a small vacuum line that runs from the electrical doo-dad (the other line runs to the rear of the intake manifold) on the driver's side head to the actuator that splits the line from the A.I.R. pump to the exhaust manifolds.

What do I do with this line? Cap it off?

If I remember correctly once you delete the AIR pump you don't need to do anything with it.

Cool!

Now....

About the doo-dad on the driver's side valve cover...

Looks like that thing just ran out of stuff to do, so can I remove it and cap off the vacuum line coming from the back of the intake?

That's what I did.

John,

What does the other little vacuum line going to the intake do?

The big one obviously goes to the brake booster.

Thanks!

One of them operates the A/C controls. Careful not to pinch it when swapping intakes.
