Default Catch can?

I'm ready to purchase the RevXtreme catch can but I'm unsure about how to install onto my engine. I've already purchased the ls6 style valley cover with the redesigned pcv setup. My question is can the original ls1 pcv hose be used with the new valley cover and the revxtreme catch can or do I also need the ls6 pcv hose?

Im pretty sure you just cap off your existing ls1 sys., and run a line from the ls6 valley, to the top of the revX can, then from the side of the can into the intake manifold. You probably need to run a fresh air line from the tb to the front pass valve cover or just cap that off as well and use a valve cover breather.

Theres a buch of good info on here about the workings of the pcv sys. Heres a few links.
