Thought about trying a vacuum pump? I wasted my money too, on the LS6 cover. I suck in more oil now than ever. I'll be totally deleting the PCV system with the new motor, and run a vacuum pump.

Well the LS6 cover worked for me, no oil in the Sears air separator; but hmmm. . . still consuming oil-must be getting by the rings. About half as much as before, though.

I just took off my whole PCV system. I had a seperator in the main line but it was sucking it from the valve covers. I just capped everything off and I'm running dual breathers. Not many miles on the setup yet so we'll see how it goes.

I installed the 6L truck pcv vlv (Ask dealer about service bulletin, no ball, just a small hole). Also made a catch can out of pvc pipe. Looks stock & seems to work but hasn't been installed long enough to see how good.

LS6 valley cover worked for me. LS6 PCV valley cover + catchcan made from PVC pipe works really well for me. Just about no oil is getting in to my intake now.

The breather on the driver side will soon get saturated and spill oil all over the back of your engine. route a pcv line fom that side to the other one on the passenger side into a catch can and you'll reduce oil in intake dramatically..
Ask COLONEL he can verify that.

I had posted pics of my PCV setup a few months back.

I used steel braided hose from each valve cover and ran it through an air/oil seperator then vented it back into the stock pcv valve and into the intake manifold like the stock pcv system.

I empty the Oil/Air catcher every couple weeks, and it usually has about 4-5 ounces of oily crap in it. Especially when racing, at WOT it accumulates alot more.

I took the pics offline, I will reupload then tonite.

I use a vertical PCV setup pulling thru the LS6 valley cover. Don't use a drop of oil now...

i've gotta ls6 PCV setup also (replaced lifter valley cover) and it wouls moke like a son of a bitch after I finished my build up (sucking oil)

I then constructed a cheap catch can outta some clear vinyl hose, some barb fittings, and a sears air/water seperator.... seems to catch most of the oil (only smoke a little now when I start to accelerate)
