Again, this depends on what headers you have. My 1-7/8 Grots gave me plenty of room on both sides.

It took me longer than two hours to put the mounts in. The hardest part was trying to line up the last mount.

Granted, but how easy/difficult was it for you to get the 18mm bolts through the pedestal?

I have solid mounts, so I didn't have to worry about that. But either way, I did it on a lift, with a pole jack. I've removed countless cradles/subframes before.

With polys you don't have the luxury of unbolting the pedestals. You have to line up the hole throught the poly mounts with the holes in the pedestal. The reason so many people say this is so difficult is probably cause with everything in place its hard to see the holes to tell if they're lined up. You'd kinda just have to work the bolt in till it catches. When I did mine, I was able to see the holes and direct my buddy how to pry/jack the motor to line em up. They went through in less than 15 mins.

I'm not trying to sound like a dick, but I know what the difference is between the two types of mounts.

What worked for me was installing the passenger side 18mm bolt, then loosen the 4 Motor Mount Pedestal Bolts on the Drivers side. Just so you have some play, don't remove them completely. Then just work with your jack and line up the Mount and Pedestal, and with the bolts loose you can manipulate the pedestal enough to get the other 18mm bolt started. Then just hammer it home, start the nut, and retighten the four pedestal bolts. Tighten both motor mount bolts and nuts and then onto the task of reinstalling the 3000 things you had to remove to get to the mounts.

I never said you didn't. I was just trying to make a point that with the polys you have to line up the pedestal holes and that is what can make them a bitch.
