Default msd wires suck?

I just installed headers and while i was doing so i put in ngktr 55 plugs and msd wires. On my local forum they are all saying that i should put the stock wires back on because i am losing power with msd wires... ?? does anyone know if their is any truth to this? Thanks!

I would just run the MSD set. Are the stockers the originals? I doubt you will get anything worse than a little whistle in your stereo going from the best to worst wires. Powerwise, unless they are damaged or severed you will notice no difference. My experience anyway.

I had to go back to stock wires as my msd's were all reading differently after 25k miles, car runs 10x better now and will never buy any of their junk again. Their coils are a POS

I replaced my factory wires at 175,000 miles with MSD spiral wound wires (3 years ago) and have had no problems. Factory wires that run to 175,000 miles before they start misfiring is pretty good! I doubt the MSD's will last that long, but they were ALOT cheaper!
