Default H-Pipe with DI/DO muffler???

I have true duals runing into a flowmaster DI/DO muffler with turn downs on my truck. I was wondering if and H or X-Pipe would help performance any with the muffler? The piping is all 2.5". Is the muffler already acting as a crossover?

the muffler is located all the way out the back of the rear bumper?

If so, then yes you will benefit from the crossover pipe, because the crossover should be as close to the engine as possible, it's best as soon as the exhaust manifolds end.

This is because the exhaust is hottest.

I think that muffler flows good, unlike the 80 series that goes on f bodies.

I'm not 100% sure, and the muffler was on the truck when I bought it, but I'm pretty sure it's a Flowmaster 50 Series.
