Default LT headers with a regular muffler?

Currently I have LT headers with a Magnaflow exhaust. I was thinking of making the car more of a daily driver but its way too loud.
Any of you guys using a regular muffler with LT headers?

If you can find the SLP dual/dual muffler, you would have a good system that is pretty quiet, yet flows well.

x2 this is about the quietest you are gonna get and still flow well, after that I think your next step is going back to the stock catback which will be real quiet but doesn't flow well...I am running my stock catback now on LT's and its silent, my true duals go on this week!

Your talking about the magnaflow bullet type? I have a magnaflow regular style muffler on my car. It sounds about stock and still puts down 350 rwhp. But I have a catted LT setup.

Add cats if you have an Off-Road y pipe, that'll tone it down some. If you go back to stock, it's just gonna flow poorly.

Honestly though, i dont see how your setup is too loud for a daily driver??

Defidently go Dual/Dual if you want it quite and tame for a DD, Im running pacesetter LT's, ory and dual/dual. Its nice has a throaty sound and is perfect for the DD.

I want mine a bit louder so a hooker catback is going on next week but the old dual/dual is spoken for sorry.

Thanks for the comments.
I do have an offroad y-pipe.
Does it make any sense to just replace the magnaflow muffler & tips with a stock one? Would that work? If I did I believe it would be much more quiet. Would there be a noticable power loss?

Yea, it'll work and it will be alot more quiet and im sure you'll notice somewhat of a power loss but probably not alot. Just enough for you to notice it.

stock muffler can be very raspy. I have a magnaflow muffler with cats and its very quiet until you get on it.
