Default Long Tube Headers???

I just bought a 98 Camaro SS. I am going to put long tube headers on it but I don't know what kind. I have heard that pacesetter and hooker are good. I am also going to run a true duel exhaust on it if that makes any difference. Also, is it a big job to put long tube headers on the car? I have heard you have to raise the motor to put them in.

Not a big job at all. You don't need to raise the motor. As for brands, I have LPP, he's a sponser on here and you can't beat the quality or price for 321 stainless, I think its like $600. Pacesetter sucks

I had Hookers and they rusted out. Now I've got Kooks. Love them! Stainless steel is the way to go. True duals will diff. work. They are LOUD! I've never tackled either header install but I know it can be done in your garage. Some have jacked the motor alittle to slip them in. Good Luck!!!

i like my hooker headers. install very easily. any header will rust eventually if it's not stainless steel.
