Can I use ls1 balancer on 6.0 iron block?

Can I use ls1 balancer on 6.0 iron block? Are these combatible? Are both engines balanced internally? I was wondering if my asp underdrive pulley is possibly not going to be as smooth as say an ati super damper on my 6.0 iron block build.
