Default Ceramic or Stainless Steel?

Talking headers. I know ceramic is supposedly better for under the hood temps, but I heard it rusts and eventually needs to be replaced/get new headers? I also heard stainless steel gives off more heat, but lasts forever and just changes colors. Question hear is I am getting LT headers for my car, but wanted to know if Ceramic Headers do eventually rust through? This car is my first true muscle car and I preferably want to keep it for a long time so I want a header that's going to last a while and I know ceramic(pacesetters) is cheaper, but I want something that lasts and am not sure it will. It's either Kooks Stainless or Pacesetters Ceramic. Money is not a problem.

If money is not a problem then buy the kooks. The LPP's stainless headers are also nice and are half the price of kooks.

Buy the Kook's and don't look back. I have gone through SLP (old style) and Hookers...currently have Kook's 1 7/8" SS headers. The coatings on both the SLP and Hooker didn't hold up as anticipated along with other issues...coating supposedly are better now but you can't beat SS if price isn't an issue.

You can always do both stainless and ceramic coating...it is a bit spendy, but they sure look nice.

You can always coat your stainless headers if you are worried about under hood heat.

The new SLPs are stainless and coated.
