Default E-brake switch location

the brake light is on in my dash. i just recently did some swapping in the rear end. not new gears, just the whole thing all together.

I need to know where the e-brake switch is to test it to see if its bad or if the problem might be somewhere else.

Thanks.

Have you already tried cycling the ebrake handle a few times? Same thing happened to me when I swapped mine. Make sure the brakes were bled correctly and the fluid level is OK too. Believe the ebrake switch is in the colsole.

under the upper console. easy to removed. just remove the 2 hex screws for the upper console under the console lid, remove the staple that holds on the shift **** to remove the shift **** and pull up on the upper console

(easier if u put on the ebrake and move the shifter to remove the upper console)

should see the ebrake sensor on the ebrake assembly

would that really have anything to do with the brake light? i would think if there was a bleeding problem or a low fluid issue that would cause an abs light?
