haha we are literally identical in every way lol. Love it. What I also love about the set up is at cruise its nearly silent...so sleeper extraordinaire yay. I had someone think i was a v6 for 2secs...till i got into it and rapped them.

It's light, relatively quiet in normal driving, no rasp, and sounds great at WOT. My GMMG always sounded good - except when it was really cold - but after four years I had had enough loud. Plus the thing weighed a ton with the powerpack and resonator tips I installed to tame the rasp.

Love the sleeper effect with my Formula. I'm looking forward to pulling off a few surprises when challenged on the street. I'm considering getting a personalized plate "JUSTAV6."

Anyway, the fact that I copied your setup is a compliment to your ingenuity! Maybe some other guys will eventually try it. It's a good flowing, good sounding, very lightweight set up for a car at the bolt-on power level.

I agree 100% I looked at many tests and this muffler happened to fit my exact needs, quite at cruise and extremely well flow. Also the cost of the entire setup is so cheap and sounds great that its hard to beat.

This is probably a stupid question but ya. Did you have to buy a 4th band clamp? I have my LPP headers sittin here waitin to go on. Just need some good weather.

They came with 3 band clamps and now that I have them I think I will need a 4th.

1 for each header to Y connection
1 to connect the Y together
1 to connect the Y to the I

Am I wrong?

Y to I clamp usually comes with a catback. Maybe they don't send it for that reason?

you shouldnt if you have a catback already...cause the stock one would not have really worked well.

The only thing that i do not like about that set up is that you can run only 1 tip. For a Camaro that is ok. You can hide the turndown under the bumper. But on a firebird bumper, you need to have tips

Yeah, but the dual outlets are on the same side, so you'd have to wrap one of the tubes all the way around. I'm not sure it would fit and it'd add weight.

The single tip is ok on the standard Firebird/Formula bumper. I agree on a T/A you do need dual tips. Check the tips on my T/A in My Garage.
