Default LPP Header and Y install with Maxflow catback.

Well, it took longer than expected but whatever, also would like to point out I had to extend my front O2 sensors, which I thought wasn't going to need to be done. They are in after 8hrs of solid work. Took so long because I basically just had a helper that couldn't actually participate in hard work lol. So.....when it was all said and done its badass sounding and loud. Man I missed the loud sound. Here are the pics. Nothing out of the ordinary besides the O2 deal. Definitely noticed more top end power, 1st to 2nd just blows the tires off all of 2nd and 2nd to 3rd will give it a little spin instead of the previous chirping it was doing. The Fitment of the headers was great and the y-pipe went in without a problem except for my I-pipe was a tight fit and had to be welded over. OVERALL: quality of headers is top-notch. Highly recommended

Well, as the only other Maxflow catback user on this board, I look forward to your vid. No doubt the sound won't be as soft as with stock manifolds.

I have a custom catted Y with XS headers (earlier version of LPP) and have been happy with the absence of rasp with the Maxflow. I'll be interested to hear how yours sounds with the ORY. It was the first thing I ditched trying to tame the rasp with my previous GMMG.

Looks good! did you have problems with the driver side hitting the k member when your driving mine virbrates like hell

no problems with fitment, i have some resonance coming from the rear that i need to check out since the y lifted the catback some.

so updates my primary on the drivers side hits the motor mount...im lookin at options for that. But I had my friends dB meter and I placed it 2ft away from the car and at idle it was 93dB and at 5000rpm wot it went to 122dB! hell yea. Im getting videos tomorrow for sure btw sorry for the long wait.

GMMG is a good flowing catback ... there was some kind of turbo muffler on my car when I bought it. Bolting on my GMMG felt like adding, well, a turbo.

But a Hooker Maxflow flows as well as an equivalent length of straight pipe. No loss. I don't think GMMG picks up any power by splitting the 3" pipe into dual 2.5" and running them through the dented chambers - not to mention the extra bends and tubing required to get it out both sides. Plus that makes it heavy.

My Maxflow is 14" of straight-through 3" flow. Simply the best flow available. 13 lbs. And reasonably quiet too.
