FAST throttle body

I'm having a high/hanging idle problem, the throttle blade has two holes in it, one is about a 1/4", the other maybe an 1/8". I don't know it this comes from the factory or not. The HPTuner software has no control over the idle, I'm thinking I need to have a look at the IAC. The throttle screw is about 1 turn in from where the blade stops on the body. The engine is a big cammed 408.

What size throttle body do you have?

Did you buy it new or used?

I dont think the FAST blade comes with a hole, someone probably have put that there themselves.

No holes in the blade in stock form on a FAST. Get some JB Weld and seal them off. You can use HP tunners to adjust the Throttle Air Cracker for the IAC position both starting and ending points. Fill in hole first and go from there.

It's my TB and bought it used. Is it possible to just buy a new blade from Fast?

Sure, just call and order one. Or try to find one that broken on ebay or something...

I put a bolt through mine with a washer and locknut with locktite for now. Think I'm going to try having it soldered up if that doesn't work then JB Weld

With the size of the hole in the blade, the size of bolt needed would knock the TB down to about 50!

do what?

someone drilled a hole a little larger than 1/8" through the blade...I found a bolt, washer, locknut in the random pile in my shop, put the bolt through the hole with the washer in front of the blade, put the locknut with locktite on the back...hence sealing the small hole in the blade
