Default Installed Heads and Intake

I finally installed the TEA Stage 2 heads and LS6 Intake this weekend. My brother n law then tuned it on a dyno. Final numbers were 377 HP and 382 TQ. The heads are milled to 61cc for a 11.1 compression. Im very happy with the numbers.

Interesting set up, nice heads. While the heads are off it's a good idea to replace lifters/trays...

i put new lifters, hardened pushrods in it. i ordered the trays but the guy messed up the order and didnt get them. sucks for when i go to cam it, cause the lifters didnt stay in the tray. the heads have dual valve springs in them also.

Lmao..... i really did giggle when i seen that torque curve. I have a feeling you are going to do two things
A) get sponsored by Nitto (after your 48 set of tires)
B) Hurt everyones feelings ( Dude you lost to a bolt on car? You fail....)

Well guys I have to vouch for Chris (1spry99). I went for a ride with him on Tuesday and that thing was just ballzy. From a stop to pulling into 4th gear it was effortless. You can definately tell it has 382tq at the wheels. I was just amazed how fast it hit 120. Congrats Chris, that thing is silly. The only mods the car looks like it has is exhaust and lid, burried is the intake heads and headers, sick.

PS that torque curve is freakin awesome, that thing is flat. Im going to try to pull up the dyno video from my phone and post it on here if Chris doesnt mind.

Mike

Sounds good. I'm running a prc stage 1 317s on my LQ9, longtubes, etc....stock cam in my truck. I wondered why more people didn't do this and a lot of people ask me why no cam. I say why not. Can always do the cam later.
