Arrow bbk tb on 98 trans am

hey guys i just purchased a bbk tb for my trans am and i found out it comes with the 99+ throttle cable braket. i called a few shops and they saud bbk is suppoed to have 2 spots to put the cable through one knotch for the 99+ and one for the 98s. im only seeing one knotch. im not sure how i can go about putting this on my car... do i need to drill a hole in the braket? or what can i do?? please help. i also purchased the bbk ssi manifold to match if that helps any...

ok i think i found out that the TB is supposed to come with a adapter which mine did not come with so does anyone know where i could get that from?

from what i know its suposed to come with 2 tb cams that you can swap.
about a year ago i ordered a summit racing tb thats the same as the profesional products tb and it came with 2 cams.
i also think 98's and 99 both had the same tb cam i think they went with the bigger cam in 2000.
call up bbk tomorrow

And you aren't using the factory throttle cable bracket why? Bought mine off a guy with a 2000. He used his stock bracket and it worked fine. Threw it on my 98 using the stock bracket and it worked fine.

Like crashinaz said.I bought a bbk that my friend had on a 98 and I put it on my 2000 and it worked fine.From what I remember you have to use the spacer plate or it won't work properly.I also used the stock bracket and it worked good on both cars.
