jingle bells ok every once in a while i get this annoying *** jingling noise and it seems like its coming from the area of my a/c pump. I've heard quite alot of GM cars make this noise before. It drives me insane. What the hell is it, and how do i stop it?

And yes it could be described as change jingling too. SOOOOO annoying. The loose change sound usually is related to too much timing, at the RMPS you hear it.
But if your A/C is shot, then it very might well be the compressor.
Hard to diag and say online, but I think your in the right direction now.
