Need help with tsp 1 7/8 headers!

Need help with tsp 1 7/8 headers! I CAN'T GET THEM TO FIT....ON THE DRIVER SIDE I HAD TO TAKE OFF THR OIL FILTER STEERING SHAFT AND THE TWO MOTOR MOOUNTS AND LIFT THE ENGINE LIKE 3 OR 2 INCHES JUST TO GET IT TO GO ON AND ON THE PASSENGER SIDE I'VE JUST TAKEN OFF THE STAERTER BUT HAVEN'T REALLY MESSED WITH THAT SIDE....CAN ANYONE HELP ME?
on the driver side, if you have the filter off and the steering shaft out, you should be able to get it to go, i had to go from the bottom up on the driver side, it just takes patience to make them fit. You have to get it in that sweet spot wear it just slides right up. Its a bitch but once you get them in, its a good feeling.
Had both mine up in there in 25min tops! U have to stand the header straight up and down push it towards the front header should hit the drain plug to get u an idea how far forward, got to the have the car up real high i put 2 cynder blocks under each tire and that worked well
