Default E-cut questions

i have a 98 ws6, i wanna put an E-cut on it, i have read other threads and from what i understand the best place to put it is right under the back seat? is that the best spot for it?
which E-cut has been the most reliable?
and where and how do you run the wires? do you have to drill a hole in the floor?
i would also like to see some pics please if anyone has them...any and all info will help thanks alot guys

that is the best place for a cutout.

as for brands the 2 best brands are QTP and DMH.
dmh having a 4yr warranty and qtp i believe has a 1yr warranty.

you dont have to drill any holes theres a plug that its under on the rear passenger seat ujust have to splice it up alittle and run the wires through there.

I had mine under the rear seat and worked fine, just be careful how you route the wires. I had a QTP

Yes you need to remove the passanger rear back seat ( 1 bolt) and there will be a grommet. Just cut a little hole in it and run the wiring to a 12v source

here is a pic of a cutout under the rear passanger seat. You can see the black rubber grommet where you will need to run the wiring inside the car

I'm a six speed car and i just ran my wiring up the shifter boot down the side of the tranny strait to the cut-out, worked great. The cutout is a 3.5" BadlanzHPE cutout. www.BadlanzHPE.com
