Help! Safe method to raise car for header install

I used 8" solid concrete blocks under my rear tires and a jackstand/block combo under the fronts when I did my headers. I jacked the car up more and adjusted the front stands/blocks when sliding the headers up into place, but once they are in you need to lower it back down to be able to work under the hood. I never have been trusting of just ramps or jackstands, so I always use a solid block under the tires as a safety.

Everything comes apart with bolts and nuts. Get a little repair manual and have at it. I had never even taken an intake manifold off up until a month ago, and the wife and I just finished replacing the passenger side head gasket, cam swap, springs, pushrods, etc etc etc. It wold take you about 10 minutes to take a valve cover off. Do eeet
This is what I'm going to do. Jack the rear up, put the rears on the ramps, then jack the front for the stands and etc. The ramps I have are tall and great, but there's no way to drive up on them with an F-body.
