Now you need to seal your lid and front of the air box

why the hell does it need to get completely ripped out? is it because you want it to be like your ******* after you and vettedood are done with eachother??? see this actually serves a purpose and aside from being slightly lacking in the asthetic aspect there is nothing at all wrong with it period...it creates more airflow and has zero negative side effects

Well, only if you don't mind losing the bumper. It's not hard.

Lowered my IAT's BIGTIME. My car was only a tenth slower than my brother's 360whp t/a on the same day when it only had light tuning (timing), this ram air, and !muffler. I was in a pinch and wanted to beat him with no real money in it and came pretty damn close.

Now I have more stuff so he gets it pretty good

No, he didn't. He said its an "icon" and that they are getting hoosier-rigged.

Was it part of your masters degree that you were taught to call everyone gay as a last resort?

by losing my bumper you mean having to take it off and put it back on or do you mean ruin it by doing this?

Nah that's the cover. Super easy. The actual bumper underneath with the impact foam. It's held on by like 4 bolts. I removed it since I have a dd and it can be put back on easily and it weighs like 15lbs. I suppose you could drill through it somehow but then your getting into work.

Had to drill the core support on mine too. 4.5"

I would've already given a few guys a nice vacation. Mods need to get in here and do their F'n job.

As for Magnet, I think it looks great and you did an awesome job. The car should prob pick up a few mph in the 1/4 from that nice mod. As long as it stays put at the nose. I would definitely seal the lid up bc all your air is coming from the bottom anyways.

I think it looks great!! Nice work and it's nice and light too.
I made my first home made ram air using gutters, lol.
I now have one I made using black abs drain pipe from Lowe's along with some aluminum piping and rubber bends from pep boys-I'll try and get some pics up this week.

Nice work bro!

don't let them get to you, they are probably slow anyway and will stay that way until they get some imagination like you did.
don't even sweat it.

Form follows function. Magnet will probably come home with the pinkslip of some fool's car who thought his home made ram air system wouldn't work because it wasn't pretty.
I had a friend back in high school who got his Chevy Vega into the 11's by stripping off everything that did not directly put power to the pavement. He shifted the car with the same screwdriver he started it with. I laughed at him till he tipped me out in the quarter. I was driving a 6-71 supercharged '68 400
Firebird. That Vega was NOT pretty, but it DID kick my ***! lol
It takes a LOT of nuts to believe in what you're doing enough to cut up your car to make it happen. Props to Magnet.
