Default Kooks Custom Exhaust?

Anyone used these guys: http://www.kookscustomheaders.com/contact.html ? They're on Long Island in New York and I was wondering. I am probably gonna use them for my custom 3" true duals with an h-pipe with bullets dumped since they have a reputable name and are the only close custom exhaust shop I know of. Just wondering if anyone knew quality of their steel/stainless steel exhaust and wait times for products/appointments. I am calling them up soon to see stuff anyway but was wondering.

Got a link to the thread? I am also wondering the price range if he said that. I am guessing/hoping no more than $2300 total for $500(LPP longtubes-not from them) the pipes I said and installation.

I doubt you could get a better dual system set up anywhere. Here's the link to the system the silver one mentioned.

Wow! You should get their headers too if you want them to do a custom true dual setup. Figure around $900 for headers and you still have quite a bit to spend on the rest of the exhaust. Their stuff is top notch!

I honestly dont understand why an exhaust manufacturer doesn't stand up and make a genuine, true dual mass produced kit for our cars. I saw the one (TSP i think?) with the turn downs and I dont like it. come on guys, get with it.

whats the price for this kooks td?

That Kooks TD set up is awesome, but I thought the price was in the $2,300 range.

If you do it, post up and show the results and let us know a price. I live close enough to them, I may think about it. Would have to check out the sound on one first though. My car is pretty loud now.

This has been discussed many times. Since every car is different, with different suspension components, rear ends, etc., it's just not possible. Our cars weren't meant to have true duals, they have to be custom fabbed to have decent fit.

Bassani actually does make a mass produced true dual exhaust...ever checked it out? It doesn't look like the one linked above, or mine that Speed Inc. did for me, but when you get into custom made setups, you are talking big bucks.

Please feel free to give us a call. We would be more then wiling to discuss all the possiblity of a custom true dual setup with you. You have a few option and price ranges to go with to fit your budget. We will be coming out with a 2 1/2 dual exhaust system over the axle not under in the near future.

Thanks, I will definitely be contacting you in the next week or 2. I just need to get some warranty work done fix my windshield wipers then I can get my exhaust done. Thanks. If you can answer this question now, what's your wait time now looking for a complete exhaust system made and installed?
