Default throttle doesnt respond to pedal!!

strange problem: when i push the pedal, nothing happens. the car idles fine, the cable is connected at the TB and the sensors are all properly attached. theo nly codes i'm getting are for high idle (thank you over-ported TB) and lean on both banks (due to the high idle). worked fine yesterday.

any ideas?

Have somebody watch the TB while you push down on the foot feed, if the TB doesn't move yer cable has to be broken.

If the TB does open, and the engine doesn't respond, either yer engine is off or yer engine is really FARKED up.

Does your car have traction control? If so it may be a bad/broken TCS module as the cable goes to it before the throttle body.

Even if the cable is connected at the TB, it could still be broken somewhere in the cable. Give it throttle by hand right at the TB and see if it responds.

The pedal to TB is 100% mechanical, so if it's not working with the pedal, then your cable's snapped.

Not sure. I've never done either one. But you shouldn't need to replace anything but the cable.

You can just replace the cables and dealer can get them.
