Default Guys with 4150 Fast throttle bodys

Got these two pretty pieces this week. My main concern is how you guys with this throttle body are hooking your throttle cable to the throttle body.

I'm also in the same boat as you. Only things i have been advised on is using a 24" universal Lokar throttle cable but a sponsor told me to use a 36" Lokar throttle cable and cut to fit. Is everyone using the 24" cable?

Heres what Im going to do with my throttle cable. I have a 1/4 heim end. The 1/4 sae bolt I put in my lathe and drilled a hole the size of my throttle cable all the way thru it. On the other end is a bigger hole. Im going to make my bracket first that throttle cable will bolt to on the back on the intake. Then cut the cable to length, thread it thru the bolt, fold a 1/4 in and pull it tight into the bolt and pour some lead in there to hold it tight.

Bumping this back up. Has anyone come up with a better solution for this?
What throttle cable bracket and how is the throttle cable being hooked to the throttle body, and what about return springs??

I used these

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/LOK-S-1034/

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-210240/

and cut my factory cable (was a cruise/traction control car)

takes a little creativity

After you cut the stock cable to the correct length, what did you use to affix it the cable to the bracket (sum-210240)?

i actually used a rubber grommet that fit tightly on the sheaving of the stock cable and squeezed it into the square part that slides on the summit bracket... its held like that for over 5,000 street miles and a few trips to the track. Ill try and snap some pics for you.

heres a pic

its such a tight fit underneath the top of the cowl that the grommet cant pop up out of place either, but its squeezed into the bracket pretty good aswell.
