Thats what im saying I was just gonna take them off replace with exhaust pipe and delete the codes or run o2 sims. But most folks say DONT. So im just like " crap I have no job so my car just sits there with no plans to do anything" since everything will cost $$$$$$. That was just a cheap little mod I was goning to do.
Buy the cats plz....
I got the tsp Catted Y pipe, installed it blah blah, well i had my local exhaust shop make me straight pipes that slide right in. With the TSP catted y it is bent pipe on one side of the cat and a small staight pipe on the other side both welded, so they bent the pipe and made them fit right up. Cost me 50$....
Inspection/emission, Have a hot date, put the cats on...... Cruising, Racing, Driving pull them off.... You get everything you want, for an extra 50 bucks not a big deal worth it so no fuss inspection.....
O YA TUNE TUNE TUNE..... I did a a LS6 intake and LT's and my car was running VERY VERY LEAN 17.1:1 at 2.5k rpm... , it was costing me 30-40 hp.... my tune saved my life and made my car a whole different animal, o ya and had all the unnessasary codes deleted.....
