Air lid difference?

what is the difference between the 98-99 Air Lid and the 00-02 air lid?

i thought it was because the 00-02 ones had the exit hole on the back right side of the lid and the 98-99 did not.

correct, on the driver side is the hole for the air pump to pull filtered air to inject into the exhaust manifolds.

Dewman, what/where did you buy that plug??? I put a valve cover breather in mine, but yours looks a lot better.

That looks like the plug they send with the lid if you order for a 98-99. Couldn't tell you exactly what it is, but it was a huge pain in the *** to get plugged into my lid. It took longer to do that than it did for any other part of the installation.
