Default I want some headers for Firehawk

Ive got a 99 firehawk and could use some help on where to get some headers for it, what brand, kind, style, etc etc? I dont know much about this stuff so some help would be appreciated. I want to increase my horsepower significatly and thought this would be the best way to do so.

I would say go with QTP headers.

But before you decide on headers, are you an A4 or M6?

Ok then I would definetly go with headers.

You can look over at the sponsor banners on the right for QTP, you'll find all the info you need there for the headers.

Are you going emissions or non emissions?

why ask m6 or a4?

Would it make a difference?

Im looking for headers too. Heres a price list that I made for myself 15 minutes ago (all are ceramic coated outside some include inside as well):

340 pacesetters (from tsp)
430 Dynatech headers (from lgmotorsports)
517 Jet hot (call to verify about price)
600 BBK Headers
630 Hookers (from thunderracing)
655 Basanin (from thunderracing)
730 Thunder racing
800 QTP
890 SLP headers
1250 QTP just headers
1250 TTS Headers with ypipe & cats (at ls1motorsports)
1300 FLP with y pipe
1500 PPC headers & Y pipe (+25rwhp)
???? KOOKS (call)

If you don't care about looks get them uncoated, there's no real other reason to get them coated. Also almost all those headers are going to make the same power on a stock internal LS1 with only minor bolt-ons.

I ask if it was an A4 or M6 because if it were an A4 I would suggest going with a torque converter before he gets headers.

Also your price listing isn't detailed enough. I believe the BBK, Bassani, are mid lengths, but I could be wrong there. The 800 QTPs are I believe their emissions setup in Stainless Steel and the 1250 are I believe the merge collector setup in stainless steel. Also the Kooks are available in stainless steel or mild steel, thats hwy you have to call.

When looking at prices, please remember these points on the PPC systems:

All piping is coated inside and out

ALL parts and hardware are included in the system price ... no other hidden purchases.

ONLY Random Technology Metallic cats.
