Damn, good friggin work on that exhaust.

I never realized how much exhaust still goes through to the tail pipes when you opened the cut-out and revved it.

If you didn't use the two bullets in the rear and just used the one bullet after the merge....how much louder do you think it would be? A shitload, or just a little?

The c/b that you are reffering to is GMMG..

But i think it would still be loud if it was the bullet muffler in the I pipe.. It is almost like having straight pipes that way.

So from the exit on the Flowmaster merge, all the way to the tail pipes, is GMMG? One purchase for all that? Then you spliced in the cut-out?

That is correct. Like you said. In the the I pipe is my 3" chambered bullet with my e-cutout that is welded in. The 3" bullet is NOT part of the GMMG c/b.

make sense?

You have any side shots of the kooks y-pipe clearance? I have QTP headers to their off road Y and my clearance is **** you can almost see the whole pipe from the drivers side. Was there any messing with it to line up to the collectors anything else or did it go down pretty smoothly?

Sorry i do not have any side shots of the Kooks y pipe. Remember i custom fabed it when i used the FM merge. So it fit a little better. Also when looking at the car from a distance (drivers side) you can not see any of the y pipe hanging down at all

i googled those classic chambered mufflers, they seem to be just what im looking for cause i have dynomax bullets but there huge at 5"s and are pretty much the lowest point of my true dual exhaust system.

Is there any different in the different length versions? Are the shorter ones gonna be the loudest AND most flowing???

I would say so. Less to muffle with the smaller mufflers.

I just got 2 SHORT powersticks in the mail today, for my TD setup.

when you get the FM merge, you are going to cut your afermarket y so that it is adaptable to the new FM merge.

Any exhaust shop will be able to do this.

I'm actually going w/ an Xpipe. I have thought about the H pipe, but I already have the X, which came used, when I bought my used pacesetters for a killer deal.

I might as well use it.

Do you think that your set up plus cats would tame the rasp down any more?

I'm going to answer for him and say "yes" because I had a nearly identical setup to his - with cats. The cats were an important factor in quieting the rasp along with the FM merge and powerstick.
