Mac Install Problems
Mac Install Problems The guys installing my Mac Mid-length headers and off-road Y-Pipe have ran into trouble. The headers are fine but the end of the Y-pipe, for some unexplained reason, takes about a 90 degree turn to the right. What the heck is that all about?
The guys said that the bend would be really restrictive and recommended I look for a new Y-Pipe.
Any help from people experienced with the Mac ORY or thoughts in general would be appreciated.

pictures would help. Are you talking about the bends of the Y pipe or is there a bend where it connects to the catback?
Also I don't believe the bend will cause too much of a restriction, especially with the MAC ball flanges there. Chop those off first, then get a custom Y pipe made.
