Default Another ebay headers thread

I know there has been alot of scepticism about the headers on ebay. Well I was in the same boat about thinkin that their probably junk. Well a buddy of mine took the chance and bought them. To my surprise they're actually pretty nice. I didnt get to see them before he put them on but i've seen them on his car and i'm impressed for $165. I'll try and get some pics for everyone but the flange is just as thick if not thicker than my other buddies pacesetters and all the welds look great, also ground clearance couldn't be better. I had a set of flowtech headers which I know aren't great them selves but these ebay headers put them to shame. Everyone that always critisizes these headers have you ever seen them in person or known anyone to use them? I wouldn't have takin the chance but since he did and they look good I bought some. $165 for some stainless headers. Also he said the install was a breeze and he recieved them within 2 days of ordering. Also there is a 30 day money back gaurantee.

The only thing i've noticed is that the bungs are on the wrong side. My buddy made it work with ease though so shouldn't be a problem. I'll get back with everyone once I receive them.

not sure if it's legal for me to ask this question but as far as quality goes was there a better one in your opinion since you've had both?

Well i guess pacesetters are proven since they ve been around for a while and the stainless headers havent. Honestly they were pretty equal to me performance and fitment. Only difference was price and u get piece of mind w/ the Pacesetters

I love the deal and think it would be grea to get a set of stainless headers for dirt cheap......but look at the collectors! they look very restictive. Good headers have much longer collectors that dont neck down as steep

dont post that ****, he's not selling them dude, he's just saying his experience. he's aloud to talk about the headers

"Keep in mind that this is a technical discussion forum. The sponsors here keep this site running and available to you guys. Sales generated at ebay do not. We do not have a problem with you guys discussing technical things related to these headers, such as:

-Before/After gains at the dyno or track"

A buddy of mine bought some of those headers and the collectors once installed, seemed to be ever so slightly angled up which caused problems with the y-pipe hitting. Anyone else run across this?

I think people have that problem with most headers when going to a off road y. Maybe not but I know my car did with the flowtechs and another buddy of mine does to.

My question is what y pipe are you guys running with ebay headers? Do they supply one or you going custom?

Its great they fit well but suck there is no y pipe. How much $ you guys pay for a custom y? I realize its going to vary but I'm just looking for a ball park figure.

Now just need to find a place in NJ to make a custom y. Anyone have any dyno graphs with these?
