this looks good, but i think just some 4" ID rubber hose will have the same look IMO
minimal gain if any, but it's a cleaner look. The typical 4" ID rubber hose doesn't really fit correctly as it needs a slight bend to line up... which is the whole point of this thread...

What can I do if I have a 90mm FAST TB, no MAF, and an SLP Lid? I measured it, and the connection piece needs to be ~7". The TB is 4-3/16" OD and the lid is 3-13/16" OD.

So even if my intake is not recessed back 1 inch that 4 inch hose will be long enough? Sounds like a great idea btw

Yup you can still use it. I jsut put mine on 2 weeks ago. And my lid is not recessed at all. I actually had to cut about 1/8" - 1/4" off....

I would say the 4" I have a 92/85 setup and it works great...can't see the 7mm difference being that big of a deal... it is a hair over 1/4" difference

fits with the maff, this is what Im running. check out my intake test thread for more pics, and my build thread has a bunch too. Also I posted in there how it fits mint on the 92mm TB but little bigger on a 85mm maff. How you put the clamp on it, top/bottem/side. Changes how it tightens up the little 1/16 clamping, and you can use it to make it a 20* or 25* and get it fitting just right if you work on it. Its a great setup, tested a few differnt cams, and other parts had the lid off a lot of times, just taking the clamp of the TB and pulling eberything, gose right back on fast and fits up very good, 10secs-done.
Some other cars I work on with diffrent "smooth bellow" setups are a bitch, getting the lip clips in, and forceing everything for 15mins. F that.

MAF delete with 2 new clamps, slp lid to 85mm throttle body $31. Fits perfect and I gained 2 KPA above 4000 rpm. 6" long x 4" I.D.
