Smoother.....I think that is the key word. After my tune and added a ls6 intake is seems to be a lot smoother.Ive been driving with a hypertech for like 8 years now and I had got use to the way it was set up.Said being I noticed today looking at my speed odometer during launch it was moving a hell of a lot quicker and at the same time extremly smooth during the shifts and so quiet. At first I thought maybe I lost horsepower, but after doing a few launches I was watching my speedometer and noticed it was moving so much faster within seconds I had to let off because I was at 75mph in a 35mph zone.Did I feel a difference in power,Dont know its hard to say.Are you going to feel a 10hp to say 18hp increase. It just felt smoother too me.I never had a dyno done so ill never know before and after horsepower rating. At least I know that I dont have any more check engine lights on anymore.

Just got off the phone with Steve. Super nice guy. Wanted to discuss my OLSD tune. He wanted to tell me that since I run all the time in OLSD; the VE table might be off a bit but should be real close. He appologized for possibly not getting it spot on to begin with. I told him that was not a problem and that I understood that with a mail order tune I would need to do some data logging and polish the tune on my own.
If you guys are on the fence about going with Frost, DO IT!! I mailed my pcm on Tuesday, and if he hadn't needed to talk with me he would have shipped it back today!!

I also spoke with him on the phone.I am sending mine back for a second time because we did not hit the tune that i was looking for.He was willing to eat the shipping charges for the re-tune.Super nice guy and knows his stuff.Hopefully we will get it right this time. Thanks Steve.

So I have a stock enigne pretty much besides intake lid and exhaust but I want to get rid of my cats and AIR and EGR. Would it be best to wait on the tune until I get my intake, headers, cam and what not. Or could I tell you what im gonna buy and get this done befor i actually have the stuff

Mail order tuning is not a substitution for wideband tuning on the cars that need it.

If you swap cams/injectors/etc, this is used to get you up and driveable and solid before going front of a tuner for work.

That's definitely not a baby cam

Thanks for the nice words and I'm glad that you are happy with your calibration.

Thanks Kevin, I'm glad that you are happy with it.

Let me know if you can help you in the future.

Everyone else reading; after June 12th mail order tuning goes back to it's regular price, which is a still-low $125 + S/H.
