Default Exhaust options

My current setup on my '00 Z28 is macs/ORY/slp dual-dual with a cutout before the axle. It's capped since I leave my house at 4:30am to go to the gym and it's too loud and wakes up my fiancé (nice right). But I have options on where to go next..... Either electric cutout or a new muffler/exhaust. If I replace the stock slp muffler, which is the best for the money and will it change the tone/loudness of my exhaust enough to warrant a change? I want it to be louder cause I can't stand how quiet it is capped up. And no uncapping is not an option right now.

i would just do the E-cutout

you could change the muffler, but i don't think it will have the effect you want.

where a simple e-cutout will give you the best of both worlds. quiet to keep the ole lady happy (and cops), but loud as soon as you're clear of them.
