Thats funny, lol. I have almost scraped the side. If it wasnt for my wife yelling "watch out!" by the way that was my wife walking in front of the camera, we work together as a team here at our storage site. she was doing all the working while I was playing with my car.

ok the crossover has been added, and let me tell you there is a world of difference. In sound and in performance. It sounds like a totally different car now. I could not stop grining when I left the exhaust shop. Will post new pics and new video when I get a chance. Im working right now.

Here are some shots with the xpipe put in. It makes a world of difference.

I also wanted to state that I stand corrected, My bends are crushed not mandrel, I thought the machine I saw was a mandrel bender and it wasnt. So let me retract my earlier statement of saying all bends were mandrel.

Im still working on getting a video, its been a crazy day at work.

I guess I should post in the true dual section with video of before and after the crossover.

Here are the videos of the the car after the X-pipe was put in. I love the sound it has now. Not the farm truck any more. The 2nd one is my favorite. Its the muscle/exotic (thats what I would describe it as) sound that I was after. Now I cant wait to hear it with the heads and cam but thats a long time from now. For now I will just listen to the sound of stock internals

Oh yeah ......if you dont know by now I live and work at a storage facility.

WOW! So, did the exhaust people admit that they were wrong about the sound difference a crossover would make? Its clearly a different sounding car! They had to have been eating their words. Nice. Take that exhaust people.

Ok so I talked to the actual guy who did the work and even he told me before he put my car back on the lift that it will sound better with a x in there. It was the middle man who kept saying that it doesnt make a difference in sound, he wasnt there by the way.
I think I actually have even more ground clearance now that he added the crossover.
Anyway Im happy as a pig in **** with the exhaust, Im not happy with the tips. They look like *** to me. I am just going to have to get some corsa clones. Im trying to find some with a 3" inlet.

I like it man. Still sounds similar at idle (at least on video, that may not be the case in person.) The X-pipe eliminated the cackle really well. It has a much more tuned sound. At least thats what I noticed. I'm glad that you're happy with it. Good job man. By the way, I'm from a small town in Iowa, and I don't know of any "farm trucks" that sound the same as your car did w/o the X-pipe. LOL

Hey mumbles, Im from North Carolina and I have heard farm trucks that sounded better than what my car did before the crossover was added.

LS1highlife Thanks bro. It reduces down to 2.5" immediatly after the headers. The guy told me afterwards that he could have done 3inch over the axle on the same side. I was like thanks for telling me that now. But Im happy with the 2.5" . It allows for more ground clearance when I lower.

Sounds good, but those aren't mandrel bends. At least they're not crushed bends.

Yeah thanks for the correction, I mentioned that already. I said that I stood corrected that they were not mandrel bends. The guy told me they were crushed bends. So if they are not either of the two then what are they?

Maybe its just because I can't hear it in person, but like I said, I thought your car sounded good before the X-Pipe. (And it definitely sounds good after as well.) I'm not trying to be a smartass, but you must have some pretty cool "farm trucks" in NC. LOL.

BTW, I like the burnout video. Very nice.
