I have the Corsa and it does sound good, but the weld broke on the hanger right by where it goes over the axle. Now I have a hole where it used to be. For this reason alone I would not recommend it to anyone.

This is your opinion. My friend JbirdWS6 (member here) has GMMG, long tubes, and ORY, I'm not impressed. Looks like it's made from spare parts laying around a muffler shop for $900.

exactly, it is my opinion. i had to take my buddy to pick up his '00 t/a last night. he has a 242/242 cam LTs, O/R Y adj Borla and e-cutout. Just not my cup of tea........

I like my gmmg, i have ABSOLUTE zero rasp ever since i put in my powerstick in the i pipe. and to be honest i like how it looks from the back.. it is different

Personally I think that Borlas tips look the best on the Trans Am, if you get em set up right. I also like how the muffler tucks up high and shows off the LPW girdle on the 12 bolt. As for rasp, since having my custom Y made it got rid of alot of it. Never really bothered me anyways.

I think either the GMMG tips or Corsa tips are the best.. but this is all opinions....

i had a custom kooks o/r y with a fm merge and i still had rasp. like i said i KILLED all of it with my powerstick in the i pipe

414 stroker, big cam, longtubes, 3" ORY and corsa.

not really a fair comparison but i love the old school muscle sound i get but corsa with no cats and longtubes is a very loud in your face setup, picking a setup really depends , on what you want and your plans are, if you want a smooth sound check out magneflow there was a thread not long ago where a guy compared corsa and magneflow on the same car with a ls3 i think.

and i agree that the gmmg's construction looks pretty cheap, sounds good though

I think it totally depends on what other exhaust components you have and other mods. i.e. cat or no-cat, headers, y-pipe, and other parts for performance...

So how is the PowerFlo sound compared to these three? Also, why did you choose it over the two loudmouth offerings? I assume because they're too loud?

corsa usually is too raspy for most people if there its LTs & ORY. a catted Y helps, but i think Corsa sounds its best when its just a cat-back, with no other mods to the exhaust.....or on a vette.

I just wanted something everybody did'nt have. It's mellow with no rasp and queit even with my car being cammed.
