Default Muffler Question

I currently have a full 3" flowmaster catback on my ls1. Would I be able to swap just the flowmaster muffler for a hooker aerochamber muffler? I'm confused because I'm not sure if the hooker muffler has a 3" inlet and 2 3" outlets like the flowmaster does. I really like the sound and flow of the aerochamber and would really like to have it on my car.

Thanks

Funny you should mention this because that's exactly what I'm about to do. You can do pretty much anything as long as you know someone who can cut and weld or if you're willing to dish out money for an exhaust shop to do so...

i know this lol that is why i want to swap out my chokemaster for a hooker muffler. I'm just wondering how hard it would be since the only hooker mufflers I have seen have a 2.5" outlet pipe diameter where my flowmaster piping is 3" inlet and outlet. I was planning on reusing my current catback I love the style of the stainless steel flowmaster tips.

I've been searching all kinds of crossflow set-ups and this seems to be the most freeflowing of the bunch based on it's claimed "straight-thru" design.

Luckily for you, they offer it as a muffler-back kit that includes the tailpipes, so it should just bolt directly onto your existing Flowmaster cat-back.

Just putting it out there. I'm still in the midst of settling on a cat-back myself.
