I wasn't for sure it was going to be that simple, but great if it is. My buddies LS2 doesn't have such a contraption on his and I've never seen it on another car. Supposedly it was just the '00-02.

If you are wanting to keep them you need the headers w/ the appropriate provision for attaching the AIR tubes.

Since I didn't get those LT's, we'll just ditch the air tubes and program out everything we can. Less trash inside the bay anyway-

Mine is not the same (pacesetters) but driver side steering link came off.. passenger side i took off coil packs off just to get my hands down in there for bolts.. other than that the headers came off fine... both mine came from underside the car.

just take your time. watch for sensor in driver side head...

Thanks...getting started next week as gaskets JUST showed up yesterday!! Took forever to get those things...

i can tell ya first hand that the Kooks 1 3/4 headers are a breeze to install. they fit so well it's almost criminal
