I like mine but I opted to modify my G2 Y-pipe and got no clearance issues. From all I could read, there is not a single person posting that didsn't have some type of issue with the Pacesetter Y. IMO they should redesign or change producers.

I think pacesetter corrected most y-pipe fit problems (my y showed build date in Nov. and it fit great ,but did need some grinding inside a point of welding right and left parts together) did have some problem with left side HEADER hit k member and left side tuck up too high ,split collecror about 3/16 0n bottom and pull down and reweld
I called pacesetter home office and explained problems ,and made note of problems ,seem to be good people, also great to deal with TEXAS SPEED
Would by pacesetter again

I heard from TSP that each new batch pacesetter makes that they are getting better with quality and fixing some of the problems. Maybe this is why pacestter decided to raise cost? I've read with a few of the newer Y installs that they pretty much had minor fitting problems compared to the past.

I will have mine tomorrow and hopefully have them on this weekend.
I will report back on my findings and also have some sound clips through a MagnaFlow catback

pacesetter provides wire so that you can extend your currect o2 sensors...its about 5 min worth of wiring work.

Mine came in last night, and as everyone has said the Y-pipe doesn't look that bad. I was freaking out tho because only the Y pipe was delivered, but an hour later UPS comes driving back around and gives me my headers. woohoo!

Thanks TSP,
Andrew

I put a set of these on my car about a month ago. The headers are veary nice and fit well. I did have to grind the k-member on the drivers side but that only took about 5 minutes. They popped right in, which is more than I can say for hooker lt's. I put aset of those on my buds car last week and the drivers side was a nightmare!

As for the Y-pipe, it is a piece of crap. They could have spent 2 more minutes and cut the hole for the drivers pipe out all the way. No biggie cause I plan on doing an x-pipe in the near future. It will get me by for now.

All in all for the price you cannot beat these headers!

Brad

i will be watching the installation of mine saturday morning....i'd just rather pay the $150 to get it done and not have to worry about anything going wrong or laying on my back for 5 hours. but i'll be there to see if there are any snags or issues with them.
