Default Just installed a SLP LM1

And I must say i'm EXTREMELY impressed! Now I still have the stock manifolds, and cats but as it sits it sounds incredible! It's loud, but not obnoxious. I know a lot of people ask questions about this exhaust, and I did a lot of research before buying it. I bought this system used from board member Mullet. This system has definitely surpassed all expectations.

Glad you like your lm1. Wait till you get headers and a ory. It gets loud!!
My car sounds very nice with this combo.

Yea, I know it will be insane after all that. I got a good deal on this exhaust, and couldn't pass it up! The nice thing is it's modular so it can be changed if needed later.

YES!

Ditch the resonator and put a bullet muffler in if the headers make it too loud for your taste...

I'm looking forward to the headers. I like loud.

I guess if it's your daily driver, it might be more of an issue. This car isn't for me, so it works out.

Yeah i love the sound of my SLP LT's, ORY, and LM1 with cam setup. It's very loud and definitly gets people's attention. It is not my DD otherwise i think it'd be way too loud and i would get too much attention from police haha.

The loudmouth 2 sounds even better with stock cats/headers than LM1. It just got a little to loud for me with the cam and headers/ory.

hope you like it! I didnt

I have hooker long tubes/ ORY and I had the LM1...with headers and Y pipe, it was loud but I liked it

then I went and had a MS3 installed and forget it! I took the LM1 off 2 days later and put my stock SLP catback on. With the cam, it was by far way to rediculous. I got a headache in 2 minutes of driving. Just idling it sounded like fire crackers were going off in my tail pipes.

I have videos I can post...

Wow! You're not kidding. The first video is obnoxious loud. Good choice switching your catbacks. The second video sounds great. My current setup includes a catted Y so I hope once I upgrade my cam the cats will help it from becoming unbearable.

To the O.P... don't let people tell you LM1 and LT's aren't a good combo. Yes, it is loud, but it's not as bad as some make it out to be. I like the sound of my setup, alot! I definitely suggest going with cats instead of an ORY. Cuts down on rasp and seems to tame it just enough to notice. Anyways, the point I'm trying to make is, LM1 is still a great catback with manifolds or LT's, so don't be afraid of upgrading your exhaust and retaining your LM1. You won't be disappointed.

Good deal man. I run twin SLP Loud Mouth 1 resonators on my true dual setup. Sounds mean and hungry if you ask me.
